Qualification Levels
Now, we’ve talked enough about who on our team is EV-qualified.
However, understanding the difference between each certification is important. Below, you’ll find a detailed description of all three EV levels to help you make informed decisions regarding the servicing of your EV or Hybrid vehicle.

EV Level 3
This qualification provides advanced teaching for electric and hybrid technicians needing to work on high-voltage systems. As the conventional voltage on cars ranges from 12V to 24V, electric and hybrid models can reach over 400V+. This program certifies mechanics with the experience and technical ability to deal with high-voltage machinery.

EV Level 2
This program is tailored to automotive specialists where hybrid and electric vehicle maintenance is regular work. Providing the trainee with important knowledge to ensure they can effectively and safely carry out tasks on plug-in vehicles, ranging from regenerative braking system fixes to battery changes, qualifiers can undertake, diagnose, inspect, and repair electric vehicles.

EV Level 4
Representing the highest level of technical training for EV experts. It provides users with the distinguished understanding to accurately diagnose, service and undertake maintenance on high-voltage networks safely and successfully. Including power distribution, motor traction, charging components and control systems. Legislative EV mandates are also taught to ensure professional compliance.
