The name suggests we are an EV Specialist, but we cut our EV teeth on hybrid vehicles.
We service and repair a fleet of Toyota Hybrid vehicles for a local taxi firm.
These vehicles have proven the reliability of the Toyota Batteries used in the latest generation Toyota Plug-in Hybrids.
The data capture shown on the right is of the Voltage in each battery Block of a Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).
This data is checked on every service and during repairs to ensure the Battery Pack is Balanced. (Each Battery Block is within 0.1V)
This test is carried out via the Onboard Diagnostic Port using a scan tool.
This is an example of a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
